Uses:Mainly used as a pharmaceutical intermediate for the synthesis of triazole antifungal and antiviral drugs. Also employed as a pesticide intermediate for preparing triazole fungicides and plant growth regulators, and in the synthesis of metal rust inhibitors and copper corrosion inhibitors.
