Physical Properties:Colorless to light yellow transparent oily liquid, free of mechanical impurities. Contains active Si-H bonds, readily reacts with hydroxyl-containing compounds and slowly releases hydrogen under alkaline conditions. Insoluble in water; soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene, ether and other organic solvents. Density (25°C) approx. 0.98–1.00 g/cm³; closed-cup flash point not lower than 60°C. Avoid contact with alkalis, acids and moisture; store in a cool, dry place.
Uses:Used as a dedicated raw material for anti-fouling A/B liquids for building ceramics and as a moisture-proof, water-repellent treatment agent for natural stone, marble, polished tiles and building substrates; when used in waterproof paper-faced gypsum boards, waterproof gypsum boards and gypsum blocks, the water absorption can be less than 10%. It is used to synthesize modified silicone oils such as polyether silicone oil, and is an important raw material for polyurethane foam stabilizers, paint leveling agents, silicone fabric finishes and hydrophilic silicone oils. It is also used as a waterproof/softening finishing agent for natural and synthetic fibers, silk, leather, paper and glass fiber, as an anti-moisture and hydrophobic treatment agent for dry powders such as dry powder fire extinguishing agents, fused magnesia powder and calcium carbonate, and as an anti-yellowing agent for high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and a crosslinker for addition-cured silicone rubber.
