Physical Properties:LCP exhibits a crystalline appearance; during molding, molecular chains align in the flow direction, producing a self-reinforcing effect and resulting in extremely high strength and elastic modulus. Its melting point is relatively low, but it has high heat deflection temperature (160–340°C) and continuous service temperature (220–240°C), and can withstand soldering temperatures of 260°C/10s to 310°C/10s. It also possesses excellent thermal stability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, weatherability, radiation resistance, flame retardancy, electrical insulation, and outstanding corrosion resistance.

Uses:Used for components of AV and OA machinery, and as pickup components in information and acoustic equipment. Electrical and electronic applications are the main market; it is suitable for surface mount soldering technology, and can be used in printed circuit boards, electronic components, integrated circuit encapsulation materials, coil bobbin encapsulation materials, optical fiber cable joint sleeves, and high-strength elements. It is also employed in jet engine parts, automotive mechanical parts, chemical separation tower packing materials, aerospace exterior panels, and automotive braking systems.
