- 密度比高密度聚乙烯小，薄膜呈微乳白色透明，柔软，抗冲击强度比高密度聚乙烯大。耐低温，较厚的薄膜能承受90℃热水浸泡杀菌。防潮性能好，化学性能稳定，不溶于一般溶剂。有较大透气性。耐油性较差，制品能被缓慢溶胀。长期受紫外线及热作用会老化，影响物理性能和介电性能。熔点为110-115℃，加工温度为150-210℃。在惰性气体中温度可达300℃仍稳定，但与氧接触易发生降解作用。

Physical Properties:Lower density than high-density polyethylene, film is slightly milky white and transparent, soft, with higher impact strength than high-density polyethylene. Resistant to low temperature; thicker films can withstand sterilization by soaking in 90°C hot water. Good moisture resistance, chemically stable, insoluble in common solvents. Relatively high air permeability. Poor oil resistance; products can be slowly swollen. Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light and heat causes aging, affecting physical and dielectric properties. Melting point is 110-115°C, processing temperature is 150-210°C. Stable up to 300°C in inert gas, but susceptible to degradation when in contact with oxygen.
Uses:Suitable for packaging of foods such as seasonings, pastries, candied fruits, biscuits, milk powder, tea, and dried meat floss; pharmaceutical packaging for tablets and powders; fiber product packaging for shirts, clothing, knitwear and synthetic fiber products; daily chemical packaging for laundry powder, detergents, and cosmetics. Due to the poor mechanical properties of single-layer film, it is commonly used as the inner layer of composite packaging bags, i.e., the heat-sealing substrate of multilayer composite films.
