Physical Properties:High transparency, resistant to boiling water treatment (85°C/30 min), complies with Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare Code #20. It provides sufficient seal strength at 90°C, exhibits heat sealability to various materials such as PE, PP, PS, and rigid PVC, and can also seal paper, paperboard, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, wood, and similar substrates. Except for PE, peelable seals can be achieved on most plastic materials.
Uses:Used as a heat-seal layer for lid materials of injection-molded and vacuum-formed plastic containers, especially for packaging of yogurt, jam, butter, and other food products. It provides a strong peelable seal to polypropylene and moderate seals to polystyrene, polyester, and PVC. Supplied in pellet form, suitable for processing on conventional extrusion or co-extrusion equipment designed for polyethylene resins.
