The molecular structure features long side octyl groups forming junction points that link and cushion the components, dispersing impact energy and reducing the chance of crazes developing into cracks, thereby improving impact strength. Under tension, the network structure formed by these junction points can undergo significant deformation, resulting in markedly increased elongation at break.
Uses:Mainly used for modifying and toughening PP, PE and PA. In the automotive industry, it is used to make bumpers, fenders, steering wheels, pads, etc. In the wire and cable industry, it serves as insulation and sheathing materials requiring high heat and environmental resistance, especially suitable for low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant compounds.
