It is an ethylene-methyl acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate terpolymer bearing reactive glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) groups, offering high flexibility and good thermal stability. It can be processed at temperatures above 250°C without generating acidic decomposition products, and exhibits excellent compatibility with polyesters, polyamides, PPS, etc.
Uses:Mainly used as a co-extrusion adhesive/bonding layer in multilayer structures, providing excellent adhesion in pipe coatings, food barrier films and aluminum-plastic composite pipes. It serves as an impact modifier for engineering plastics such as PA, PBT, PET and PC/ABS alloys. It is also used as a compatibilizer for recycled plastic blends, a coupling agent in HFFR cable compounds, and an adhesion promoter in hot-melt adhesives and heat-sealable films.
