It contains 20% polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), offering self-lubrication, low coefficient of friction, low wear, excellent chemical resistance and low water absorption. It has good dimensional stability, a continuous service temperature of about -40 to 90 °C, short-term capability up to 120 °C, and is insoluble in most organic solvents.
Uses:It is mainly used for high-stress engineering components such as bearings, gears, connectors and sockets. It is also suitable for precision transmission parts and structural parts requiring self-lubrication, wear resistance, low noise and dimensional stability.
