It has a smooth, glossy, hard and dense surface, appearing light yellow or white, with translucent thin sections. Density is 1.42 g/cm³, molding shrinkage is 2.2%, water absorption is 0.3% (23℃/24h), heat deflection temperature is 160℃ (annealed) / 75℃ (unannealed), and Vicat softening point is 150℃. It can be used long-term from -40℃ to 100℃, with short-term heat resistance up to 160℃ for homopolymer POM and a decomposition temperature of 240℃. It exhibits excellent wear resistance, self-lubrication, fatigue strength, and electrical insulation; resistant to organic solvents and weak alkalis, but not to strong bases and oxidizing agents, with poor weather resistance.
