Physical Properties:Semi-crystalline to crystalline material with excellent electrical insulation properties that are not affected by moisture. It exhibits outstanding impact resistance and chemical stability, but has no resistance to strong oxidizing acids. It offers excellent noise and vibration damping, good wear resistance and high dimensional stability under dry running conditions. Good flowability with a shrinkage rate between 0.5% and 2%, depending on material grade, wall thickness and other conditions.
Uses:Primarily used in automotive applications, engineering components, and electrical/electronic applications, as well as medical/healthcare, piping/drinking water, and film applications. Typical uses include water meters, commercial equipment, cable sheathing, and mechanical parts.
Technical Specifications:
Moisture content must be kept below 0.1% before processing; dry for 4 hours in hot air at 85°C
Barrel temperature: feed zone 230-240°C, middle zone 255-265°C, metering zone 265-275°C, nozzle 295-300°C
Mold temperature 60-80°C, injection pressure 80-110 MPa
Cycle time 20-25 seconds, screw speed 30-60 r/min
Processing temperature should not exceed 310°C for standard grades and 270°C for flame-retardant grades
