Physical Properties:High-viscosity, partially aromatic, amorphous polyamide copolymer. Low water absorption and low moisture uptake; high transparency and gloss. Excellent gas barrier performance (especially to CO2) and aroma/odor barrier; good resistance to oils, fuels, and common chemicals. High rigidity and strength with almost unchanged mechanical properties after moisture pickup; good dimensional stability and low warpage. Resistant to UV, weathering, and abrasion, with a high-quality surface finish.
Uses:Used for high-clarity packaging and food-contact applications; can be processed into blow-molded containers, injection-stretch-blow containers, non-oriented/oriented films, paper coatings, and tubing. Owing to its excellent gas barrier and oil resistance, it is suitable for oil cups, oil lines and automotive/industrial fluid-handling components. Also used in cosmetics and personal care products, medical devices, and lightweight metal-replacement structural parts.
