It features high transparency, good chemical resistance and stress-crack resistance, low moisture absorption, low density (approx. 1.01 g/cm³), low melting point (approx. 178°C), good thermal stability, and high decomposition temperature. It maintains high impact strength even at -40°C, exhibits excellent dimensional stability, weatherability, and hydrolysis resistance, and is UV-stabilized to resist yellowing.
Uses:Primarily used in eyeglass frames, sunglasses frames, and other optical and wearable products. Its light weight, high transparency, UV resistance, and chemical resistance make it ideal for premium frame materials. It is also widely applied in automotive tubing systems, pneumatic pipes, cable sheathing, electronic housings, and medical and food packaging where dimensional stability and low-temperature toughness are required.
