Physical Properties:PA6 (polyamide 6) has a density of approximately 1.12-1.14 g/cm³, a melting point of 215-225°C, excellent wear resistance, self-lubricating properties, good chemical resistance, and relatively high moisture absorption.
Uses:Mainly used in the automotive industry, suitable for manufacturing engine peripheral components, connectors, fasteners, wiring harness sheaths and other parts with high thermal loads. The heat-stabilized characteristic maintains stable mechanical properties under long-term high-temperature service.
Technical Specifications:
Melt temperature 230-280°C; 250-280°C for reinforced grades
Mold temperature 80-90°C; mold temperature significantly affects crystallinity and mechanical properties of the part
Higher mold temperature is recommended for thin-walled parts or parts with long flow lengths
