Physical Properties:Semi-transparent or opaque milky-white crystalline polymer with a density of approximately 1.14 g/cm³, melting point of about 255-260°C, and thermal decomposition temperature above 350°C. It has relatively high water absorption, with an equilibrium water absorption of about 2.5% at 23°C/50% RH. It is resistant to oils, solvents, alkalis, and weak acids, but not to strong acids, and is soluble in hot concentrated sulfuric acid and formic acid. This grade is food-grade and complies with FDA requirements.
Uses:Suitable for manufacturing automotive components, household appliances, sports equipment, industrial engineering parts, electronic products, and consumer goods; especially for injection molded articles requiring food-contact safety, such as food processing equipment, drinking water system components, and kitchen utensils.
