Physical Properties:High-crystallinity thermoplastic with a melting point of 220–230°C and crystallization rate faster than PET. Extremely low water absorption, maintaining excellent electrical properties over a wide range of temperature and humidity in long-term use. Molded parts have a very smooth surface with low coefficient of friction and low wear. Dimensional changes are minimal, offering excellent dimensional stability. Good long-term chemical resistance; at room temperature, immersion in chemicals other than strong alkalis causes almost no performance degradation. Contains 30% glass fiber reinforcement and is flame-retardant grade.
Uses:Suitable for electronic and electrical applications such as fuse-free circuit breakers, electromagnetic switches, flyback transformers, connectors, and housings; automotive applications such as door handles, bumpers, distributor caps, fenders, wire harness covers, and wheel covers; and industrial parts such as OA fans, keyboards, fishing reel components, and lamp covers. Also suitable for applications requiring friction and wear resistance, as well as components demanding high dimensional precision and molding stability.
