Physical Properties:PBT DR48-7001 is a flame-retardant injection-molding grade polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin reinforced with 17% glass fiber. Supplied in pellet form, it has a density of about 1.44 g/cm³, a melting point of approximately 225°C, high heat deflection temperature, excellent rigidity and dimensional stability, and low moisture absorption. It exhibits outstanding chemical resistance, heat-aging resistance, and electrical insulation properties, along with good flowability for injection molding of thin-walled and complex parts.
Uses:Suitable for manufacturing electronic display housings, engine cover parts, industrial application components, and personal care products. It can be used in non-specific food contact applications. With its flame retardancy and the high strength and rigidity imparted by glass fiber reinforcement, it is widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, automotive, and daily consumer goods.
