Physical Properties:PBT is a highly crystalline thermoplastic polyester with a crystallization rate faster than PET; melting point 220–230°C and good heat resistance. Low water absorption and excellent dimensional stability; after 30% glass fiber reinforcement, it has high mechanical strength and low warpage. Low coefficient of friction with self-lubricating properties; good resistance to chemicals, solvents, weathering and oil, and good flexural creep properties. It can be made into a halogen-free flame-retardant grade meeting UL94 V-0; high dielectric strength, excellent electrical properties, and can be ultrasonic welded.

Uses:Used in electronic and electrical components such as no-fuse circuit breakers, electromagnetic switches, flyback transformers, connectors, appliance handles and housings. Used in automotive parts such as door handles, bumpers, distributor caps, fenders, wire harness protectors and wheel covers. Used in industrial parts such as OA fans, keyboards, fishing reel parts and lamp shades.
