Physical Properties:PC/ABS alloy combines the excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability of PC with the easy processability of ABS, showing excellent flow characteristics. The shrinkage rate is about 0.5%, and the melting point is relatively high, approximately 220–230°C. Prior to processing, drying is required to reduce moisture content to less than 0.04%, with recommended drying conditions of 90–110°C for 2–4 hours. The melting temperature is 230–300°C, mold temperature is 50–100°C, and injection speed should be as high as possible.
Uses:Suitable for automotive interior and exterior parts, housings for business equipment, telecommunications equipment, electrical appliances, household appliances, and other electronic/electrical products. Also used for automotive instrument panels, automotive components, enclosures, power tools, and other high-strength, heat-resistant products.
