Physical Properties:This material is a blend of polycarbonate (PC) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), supplied as black granules. Density is approximately 1.20–1.25 g/cm³, melting temperature is 230–250°C, and heat deflection temperature (1.82 MPa) is about 110–130°C. It exhibits excellent chemical resistance, especially to greases, fuels, and many solvents, as well as good low-temperature impact strength and dimensional stability.
Uses:Mainly used in the automotive industry for manufacturing bumpers, instrument panels, interior trim, exterior parts, and fuel system components; in aerospace, it is used for internal structural parts requiring chemical resistance and dimensional stability.
