Physical Properties:PC is a colorless transparent to slightly yellow transparent solid, odorless and tasteless, with a density of approximately 1.18-1.22 g/cm³, refractive index of about 1.585, heat deflection temperature of approximately 130-140°C, and long-term service temperature of -60 to 120°C. It exhibits excellent impact toughness, electrical insulation, and dimensional stability, and is resistant to dilute acids and oils, but it is soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic solvents, and is not resistant to strong alkalis and hot water.
Uses:It is widely used in electronic and electrical appliances, automotive components, optical lighting, and mechanical equipment, and can be made into transparent sheets, films, medical devices, and food packaging. As a plastic raw material, it offers excellent properties for injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding.
