Physical Properties:Biobased thermoplastic polyether block amide (PEBA) elastomer with a density of approx. 1.01 g/cm³, Shore D hardness of 72, melting point of approx. 168°C and glass transition temperature of approx. -40°C. It exhibits outstanding low-temperature toughness, resilience, abrasion and flex fatigue resistance, low water absorption and good electrical insulation.
Uses:Used as an antistatic agent and thermoplastic elastomer. Suitable for injection molding of sporting goods, shoe soles, sports equipment, automotive and mechanical tools, and electronic/electrical products; also suitable for extrusion of hoses, pipes and films; and for hot-melt adhesives and ultrafine powder for coatings.
