Physical Properties:Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with a density of approximately 1.32 g/cm³, melting point of 334°C, glass transition temperature of about 143°C, heat distortion temperature under load of 316°C, and continuous service temperature of 260°C. It exhibits excellent high-temperature resistance, mechanical strength, self-lubrication, chemical resistance (attacked only by concentrated sulfuric acid), flame retardancy, peel resistance, fatigue resistance, gamma radiation resistance, and hydrolysis resistance. Its low moisture absorption ensures good dimensional stability.
Uses:Widely used in aerospace, mechanical, electronic, chemical, automotive and other high-tech industrial fields. It can be used to manufacture demanding mechanical components such as gears, bearings, piston rings, support rings, sealing rings, valve plates, wear rings, as well as products for high-temperature high-pressure water service and high-performance wires.
