Physical Properties:Narrow molecular weight distribution and good compatibility with polyolefins. Good flowability improves filler dispersion and weld line strength of finished products. The side octyl groups in the molecular structure are longer than side ethyl groups, forming junction points that provide linking and cushioning effects, reducing the chance of crazes developing into cracks and thus improving impact strength. Under tension, the network structure formed by junction points can undergo large deformation, significantly increasing elongation at break. Density: approx. 0.868 g/cm³; melt index: 3.0 g/10min (190°C, 2.16kg); melting point: approx. 67°C.
Uses:Mainly used to modify and toughen PP, PE and PA. In the automotive industry, it is used for bumpers, fenders, steering wheels, pads, etc. In the wire and cable industry, it is used for insulation and sheathing requiring high heat and environmental resistance. It is also used in industrial products such as hoses, conveyor belts, rubber sheets and molded products, as well as medical devices, household appliances, sporting goods and toys. In packaging, it is suitable for low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant compounds, cosmetic and food soft tubes, foamed midsoles/outsoles of sports shoes, flame-retardant masterbatch, stretch film, wrap film and cling film.
