Physical Properties:Translucent colorless solid, odorless and non-toxic; regular structure and highly crystalline, with a melting point up to 167°C and a Vicat softening temperature of 150°C; low density of approximately 0.9 g/cm³, making it the lightest general-purpose plastic; resistant to heat and corrosion, and products can be sterilized by steam; good surface stiffness and scratch resistance; no environmental stress cracking; relatively high shrinkage of about 1.3–2.0%; poor low-temperature impact resistance and relatively easy aging, which can be overcome through modification.
Uses:Suitable for the production of high-transparency containers, transparent CPP film, disposable syringes, household articles, and food containers. It is food-grade and medical-grade certified, complies with U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520, and can be in direct contact with food and pharmaceuticals.
