Physical Properties:Polyphthalamide (PPA) is a semi-aromatic high-temperature polyamide with excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength. This grade is reinforced with 15% glass fiber, has a density of approximately 1.40 g/cm³, low water absorption, and good dimensional stability. It has a high heat deflection temperature (about 280°C at 1.8 MPa) and can be used continuously at 160-180°C. It is resistant to fuels, ethylene glycol and other chemicals, and its surface can be painted and electroplated.
Uses:Suitable for automotive fuel, transmission and engine system components, reducing weight, lowering cost and extending service life; commonly used in chipset sockets, chip capacitors, switches, sensors, connectors, motors and other electronic/electrical components; also applicable in high wear resistance applications such as self-lubricating bearings, seals and bearing isolation rings.
