Physical Properties:Translucent white granules; density approx. 1.15–1.25 g/cm³; melting point approx. 150–210°C; Shore hardness 25D–72D. Excellent tensile strength, tear strength, flex fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance; low-temperature brittleness point approx. -50°C; continuous use temperature up to 150°C. Good electrical insulation and can be processed by injection molding, extrusion and other thermoplastic methods.
Uses:Used to manufacture antennas, engine intake ducts, drive shaft dust covers, airbag housings, automotive fuel vapor lines, hydraulic hoses, inflation pipes, air brake hoses, plugs, sealing caps, gears and anti-noise gears, electronic devices and optical cables. It combines rubber-like elasticity with thermoplastic processability and can replace thermoset rubber and some polyurethane elastomers.
