Physical Properties:Santoprene 201-73 is a dynamically vulcanized PP/EPDM thermoplastic elastomer with uniform granular appearance and good hand feel. It offers a wide service temperature range (-60 to 150°C), a Shore hardness of about 73A, and adjustable hardness over a broad range. The material has light specific gravity (0.90–0.97 g/cm³), high flowability, low shrinkage, easy dyeability, and a high-grade surface finish. It exhibits excellent aging resistance, weather/heat resistance, tensile strength, high toughness and resilience, as well as good electrical insulation, and can be repeatedly recycled without significant performance loss.

Uses:Santoprene 201-73 is widely used in automotive weather seals, dust boots, hydraulic hoses, wire/cable insulation and jacketing, building window weather strips, pipe sealing components, as well as appliance parts and tool handles. Combining rubber elasticity with thermoplastic processability, it can be rapidly molded via injection or extrusion, and is compatible with PP, PA, PC, ABS, PS, PBT, PET and other materials for co-injection or co-extrusion, offering high design freedom.
