Physical Properties:PPO is an amorphous thermoplastic resin with a density of about 1.06-1.08 g/cm³ and a glass transition temperature of about 210°C. It is flame retardant, self-extinguishing and has low water absorption. It is insoluble in water, dilute acids, dilute alkalis and common solvents, but soluble in halogenated hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. It offers excellent dimensional stability, electrical insulation and heat resistance.
Uses:It is widely used in electrical/electronic, OA, automotive, medical, lighting and other fields, and can be used to make precision electronic components, automotive interior parts, office equipment housings, medical instrument enclosures and lighting components.
